Located in Bryanston, Johannesburg, this unusual house features an innovative design built around primary shapes, with the living room at the heart of the concept. The circular living room is one of the most striking elements, featuring a large circular window that brings natural light into the space.

Our approach to this modern house design involved creating custom furniture pieces to fit the distinctive shapes of the rooms. Notably, we custom-designed a circular sofa to seamlessly complement the room's unique geometry. We carefully curated pieces of modern furniture that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, ensuring they enhance the architecture without overpowering it.

The flooring throughout the home is a bold pink vinyl, adding a modern and playful touch to the interiors. The kitchen, a modern monochrome design, features a striking island clad in 3D concrete tiles that add texture and depth to the space. On the opposite side of the kitchen, we incorporated a large statement fireplace. The surrounding wall is clad in luxurious emerald green tiles with brass accents, creating a sophisticated focal point in the room.

Our clients, passionate art collectors, wanted the interior design to complement their vibrant collection of artwork. Which played beautifully with the concrete architectural features of the house. The space was carefully curated to enhance and frame the artwork’s bold colors, making it a central element of the home’s design. We also incorporated furniture from talented local South African designers, bringing a regional touch to the project.
