Glenwood House

This project is a wonderful example of modern, eclectic interior design – a space that blends farmstyle character with contemporary living. Designed as a warm and welcoming family home in George, Western Cape, it highlights natural materials, layered textures, and custom details throughout.
The architecture itself is striking, with double-volume spaces, timber ceilings, exposed rafters, and oak floors creating a sense of openness and scale. To complement this, we designed and commissioned bespoke furniture pieces that give the interiors a tailored and timeless feel.
A favourite feature of the project is the dramatic cluster of handmade ceramic pendant lights above the dining table. These sculptural pieces, designed specifically for the home, add warmth, craftsmanship, and a focal point to the heart of the living space.
Throughout the house, we worked with a neutral colour palette layered with fabrics, wall finishes, and natural textures to create depth and comfort, while allowing the spectacular views of the garden and surrounding mountains to remain centre stage.
